As this is an ASUS gaming monitor, it also has the usual ASUS gaming monitor features like the ASUS exclusive GamePlus and the Turbo Key. It also features a fully ergonomic stand with adjustment options that include tilt, swivel and height. The DP 1.2 standard allows a 3440×1440 resolution to refresh up to 109Hz with a certified DisplayPort cable.Īs you can see in the photos, it has a frameless design that allows it to be used in a seamless surround gaming setup. The Acer Predator X34 is also able to reach 100Hz with G-SYNC enabled and also has a static maximum refresh rate of 75Hz. The panel refreshes at 75Hz, which the same as its competitor, the Acer XR341CKA, also called the Acer X34 or Acer Predator X34, which has a refresh rate of 75Hz. The extra width adds immersion and improves the horizontal workflow. We also know that the resolution of this monitor is 3440×1440, which is basically 1440p in UltraWide aspect ratio (21:9) and not Widescreen (16:9). Every G-SYNC monitor also supports ULMB mode (Ultra Low Motion Blur) that gives you outstanding motion clarity and eliminates ghosting artifacts. The panel is an IPS-type panel that gives you superior color reproduction, black levels and very good viewing angles, meaning that the colors do not shift when viewing the display from the side. If you haven’t read about G-SYNC yet and don’t know what it is then check out our dedicated page to it here. As mentioned, it’s 34-inches in diameter and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. It is called Asus ROG Swift PG348Q. The specifications of this monitor are not final yet, but we do know some things for sure. One of them is the UltraWide ASUS PG348Q, a 34-inch G-SYNC monitor that was revealed last month. We have exciting monitors coming up soon. This is exactly the same as the Acer Predator X34, so these two displays will be close competitors. It will also be able to run at 100Hz refresh rate with the G-SYNC mode enabled and 75Hz without it.

Update: This monitor is now called the Asus ROG Swift PG348Q and no longer just Asus PG34Q.
