While looting you will unlock these (SP survival in SP only!): Build a magnum with at least 100-150 magnum ammo Level up by working on Skills (See Tips and hints page) Stock up on Wellness items (Or just dupe the Vitamins with a friend/2nd xbox) Repeat this looting process for a while and save up TONS OF LOOT! Here are your goals: If you do go near them you can disable them by hitting. Lastly MINES, look at the map and make sure to not go near the ARMY CAMP there are mines surrounding the base. Be extremely careful of 3 things: Radiation zone (look at map and don't go past boundaries) if you start taking damage turn around! Bears, they can appear out of no where and yes, will attack you. Make sure to hunt any animals you come across, they are extremely important. Once the town is emptied out like crazy (make sure to get the gas from the gas pumps and save those up!) you can run outside of the town and collect the loot drops, destroy cacti, mine rocks, chop down trees, find some Clay, or grab a bunch of snow. To see what you need to look for go back to General Hints and Tips page of this walk-through where there is a list. Any tools you find is great too like a pickax and shovel. Also get a blade, bow/arrows, and a wrench for your inventory those will come in handy. You will want to find a mining helmet as soon as possible, when loots drop from the plane don't worry about them unless they fall into the town, you will bet getting those later. If you search inside anything and find stuff you don't want THROW IT OUT ON THE GROUND so that way it can reset later.
Now build a bunch of chests and throw them down in your base, you can also throw any junk you found in them keeping any food/water to survive for the BIG SCAVENGING part!!! Now that you have somewhat of a base set up you have to collect a bunch of stuff inside the town or around it.
You will then unlock your first achievement: I recommend building 3 axes to start with. Once you start out you want to collect some wood, stone, and plant fibers to build a stone ax. So create either world and follow this walkthrough:Įnemy Spawning: Disabled (until you are ready for zombie killing)īlock Durability: 25 (until you are ready for Zombie Killing) This is if you don't want to use the current glitch which can cut a ton of time or already did all the other achievements in the Private game just have the single player survival achievements/ KM traveled achievements left.Ģ) Make a Private online game, which will be for people who want to use the glitch or to play with friends.īoth choices give you control of the world settings you can even turn zombies off.
